The Red Dot Auction, the Center’s most important annual fundraising event, is a unique silent auction fundraiser with participating artists from around the world. Each contributing artist donates a unique work of art and attendees bid because they love the work of art, not just because of who created it.

Artist Ticket Information

Thank you so much for your contribution to this year’s Red Dot Charity Art Auction. This annual fundraiser would not be possible without the creativity and generosity of our contributing artists. Since your registration is complete, you are entitled to a complimentary General Admission ticket ($50 value) for the Main Event:

● Check in starts at 6:30pm

● The auction opens at 7:00pm and closes at 9:00pm

Your ticket includes 2 drink tickets and the hors d’oeuvres buffet. A General Admission ticket may be purchased for guests at $25 per ticket (a 50% discount). While the Segerstrom Shelby Event Center has allowed us to host Red Dot at their incredible venue, all of our other costs that go into creating a memorable experience have increased dramatically over the last couple of years. As a small nonprofit in arts education, grant funding is incredibly difficult to obtain - particularly after the pandemic - so every dollar we raise and save makes a difference to our ongoing ability to change lives through our programs. And, by charging for the guest tickets there will not be a need to limit guests this year.

Artist Call!

We are calling all artists to contribute to this year’s Red Dot Auction in support of the programs of the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, a 501(c)3 public charity.

Deadline for art submission is March 27, 2024. You are welcome to use your own substrate or submit a digital file for us to print (although physical artwork has always been preferred!) For digital artwork submissions, please email your 12” x 12” 300dpi JPG image to sryder@lje.com

We can either mail a canvas to you directly or you can stop by the San Clemente location Monday-Saturday to pick up your canvas in person. (Please register before you pickup your canvas.)
