CENTER PROGRAMS

Public School Enrichment

We offer numerous richly designed after school programs, designed around various forms of art making. Each program is available individually or in a customizable series of 6 or 8 week sessions.

When schools are closed on federal holidays, many parents must be at work and need options for student activities. We participate with various school districts, coordinating creative activities that are included in a larger Enrichment Day program.

DROP IN AND DRAW
A free drawing studio held every Saturday from 9 am until 12 noon. Talented animators are on hand to teach children how to draw characters like the pros, inspiring young artists who would otherwise not receive art instruction at their public school or afford private lessons.
CREATIVE CLASSROOM
A unique workshop for parents and their children featuring a recognized literary or artistic speaker that inspires the creative genius of each participant through an entertaining presentation and related creativity exercise.
SUPPORTING COMMUNITY EVENTS
Providing art activities at a variety of community events throughout the year, such as “Art in the Park” and “ArtVenture”.
LITERACY PROJECT
Disadvantaged youth are engaged to read books that center on a theme, followed by filmmaking studio classes that teach stop motion animation technique. Student groups produce an animated film clip that relates to the selected books.

THE CHUCK JONES BIG DRAW
A unique and unforgettable creative experience for large groups from school districts, corporations and nonprofit organizations. Each event is tailor made with a specific theme by choosing from a menu of creative project ideas and film clips featuring the work of Chuck Jones.

MILESTONES 8-WEEK PROGRAM
Teaches techniques that allow students to visually articulate their thought process while tapping into their imagination.
CREATIVITY WORKSHOPS
Quarterly creativity workshops are offered for families and their children along the autism spectrum that facilitates the forming of connections with peers, fosters cooperation and provides support to families.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT 8-WEEK PROGRAM
Provides exceptional cognitive exercise for memory, executive function, visual function and association through creative projects.

Offers private study to students who are passionate about becoming an artist; each student is paired with a teaching artist that best fits the desires and direction of the student.

Our teaching staff offers expert advice to high school students who are preparing their portfolios for college applications and advance placement. We offer critical analysis of student works in progress as well as direct creative prompts for project ideas that ensure finished portfolios that contain both required breadth of work and are rich in self-expression.

There is no limit to our imagination when we work with individual clients to customize a fun-filled program that offers a creative and unique way to celebrate special events with family and friends.
